Through my schooling years, I had a natural talent in English based studies. I was also very physically active which fuelled my fiercely competitive nature. My successes in the class room and on the sporting field, diminished disadvantages I felt comparing myself to other children with ‘normal’ families.

Though my childhood may not have been the easiest journey, I truly believe it moulded personality traits within me that help define my successes today; resilience, empathy and gratitude.

It was my childhood struggles that drove me to create a better life for myself as I was determined to avoid a life of hardship.

My love of the legal profession was born when I found myself mesmerised by Tom Cruise’s character in the movie ‘The Firm’. As a teenager I often enjoyed a Hollywood blockbuster or novel with strong lawyer characters using their wit, intelligence and charisma to win impossible cases. It was from those strong minded fictitious characters that I knew from the age of 15 I wanted to study law.

At the age of 18 I finished high school and within 2 months I was working at a law firm full time and enrolled to study law by correspondence.

The firm was not a good fit for me. I was a young adventurous personality struggling to be caged and moulded. I was busting with ideas and not enjoying the old-fashioned men’s club that many a law firm cultured in those days.

I soon discovered that my love of law did not flow into the love of the court room or the old fashioned traditional law firms.  It was easy for me to resign from my position and start another position at another local law firm with a role based in property conveyancing. It was at this time I changed my studies to Conveyancing Law & Practice.

In 2004, I completed my studies and became the first licensed conveyancer in the Albury/Wodonga greater region.

It was in 2009, at the age of 29, that I rented a small room and launched my own business – this was the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey.

Working hard to break the mould of the traditional client experience, I focused on creating a supportive and client centric environment where the client feels empowered in their property journey. My passion to modernise the conveyancing industry coupled with my strong work ethic and integrity has been rewarded.

In 2017, I was the first Licensed Conveyancer in the greater border region to gain PEXA (Property Exchange Australia) certification and graduation. Cementing my superior expertise and knowledge in electronic conveyancing.

In 2018, we as a team were finalists in the Professional Services Awards (powered by NAB) in the Best Conveyancers, Australia division.

A dream also came true - I won the The President Award by The Australian Institute of Conveyancers, NSW Division. The annual industry award is given to one conveyancer per year and recognises best practice and professionalism within the conveyancing profession. When the award was handed to be, I was described as “a breath of fresh air”, and also as "competent, confident and exceptionally proficient". The amount of pride I have in hearing those words bring me utter joy.

With these awards under our belt, a shift to electronic conveyancing, three office expansions and a strong property mentor team, our clients proudly regard us as a leader in the NSW property conveyancing field.
